Absorption and reverberation control

IAC Acoustics offers various panels to reduce echo and Reverberation within Buildings. Reducing the Reverberation means a softer Sound is achieved and speech intelligibility is improved - noisy environments appear less stressful.

IAC Acoustics Varitone panels offer a reliable option for reverberation reduction in industrial applications or wherever the panels can be exposed to shock or impact, for example in sports halls.

Absorbatone panels from IAC Acoustics are a cost-effective way of reducing echoes and reverberations with an architecturally appealing look. The Absorbatone panels are installed either hanging from the ceiling or on walls. The textile surface of the Absorbatone panels is available in many colors. If you are looking for something special for your application, we can also supply individually printed textile surfaces here.

Studio sound absorbers for professional requirements
In a recording studio with professional requirements, the room acoustics naturally play an important role. The best hi-fi technology is of little use if the recording room does not have optimal conditions due to a lack of reverberation control. High echo frequencies from the drums or a persistent, thumping bass not only interfere with the recording itself but can also inevitably be heard on it afterwards. The soundproofing panels from IAC Acoustics, installed in the right places, provide a remedy here and significantly reduce reverberation.

Reverberation control with

With Varitone and Absorbatone panels, we have developed an extremely effective and also very flexible sound insulation that drastically reduces the annoying echo and reverberation effects. The panels are made of galvanized sheet steel and can be covered with various hard-wearing and easy-to-clean surfaces. This means that these sound absorbers for recording studios are not only effective but also visually attractive. Individual design, for example with your corporate design, is also possible without any problem on request.

The panels are generally available in thicknesses of 50 mm or 100 mm and widths of 450 mm and 360 mm. The standard lengths vary between 915 mm and 3,000 mm. However, different dimensions can also be produced individually on request. The modular structure makes this sound insulation extremely flexible. The individual elements can be combined as desired depending on requirements and local conditions. Installation is extremely simple and can be done on both the wall and the ceiling.

We have summarized the most important advantages of the absorbing panels for you here:

  • high resistance
  • individual designs possible
  • easy installation on walls and ceilings is possible
  • highly effective sound reduction and reverberation control
  • maximum flexibility thanks to modular construction

Are sound absorbers for recording studios always made of sheet steel? No!

With the Absorbatone soundproofing panels, we have developed an alternative in which the core is wrapped in a particularly durable and at the same time acoustically completely transparent material. These panels have the same absorbing properties as the Varitone elements, but are lighter due to the material and - provided the appropriate color is selected - blend seamlessly into the environment.
